The UN Palestine Committee, which is otherwise the “UN Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People” (CEIRPP), which is related to UNISPAL under the UN Division for Palestinian Rights, is a unique case of boxes in boxes within the United Nations system.

All receive funding from UN member states, with the highest sum from the United States.

They hold regular sessions at the UN Security Council and have only one ultimate purpose: the disappearance of the State of Israel.

On 13 February, the Wiesenthal Centre noted the march of Fascist tribute to Franco’s Blue Division, sent to Hitler to fight in Russia. A young woman took the podium on that occasion to claim it as her “absolute obligation to fight for Spain, to fight for Europe, which are now weak and have been sold off by the enemy. Only the disguise will differ, the enemy will always be the same, the Jew... The Jews are to blame and the Blue Division fought for this.” A hate show slammed by the Wiesenthal Centre’s Director for International Relations, Dr. Shimon Samuels.

Our 2021 “Worst Offender Awardee” goes to Syria and "Runner-Up" to Qatar for recidivist antisemitic conspiracy theory titles in their catalogues...

The Simon Wiesenthal Centre is, for the 19th year, the only non-governmental organization to monitor texts of hate and violence on the stands of problematic publishers at the Frankfurt Buchmesse (FBM) – “The Olympics of Book Fairs”.

A hybrid Fair this year due to the Pandemic, almost 2,000 publishers, including electronic participation, represented some 70 countries, bent on sales contracts.

The Wiesenthal Centre has monitored over the years countless antisemitic terrorist crimes in France, but especially the murder of Sarah Halimi. We denounce the travesty of the trial exonerating her killer and constantly urge French authorities to reopen the case.

In a letter to Mr. Jean-François Decaux, CEO of JCDecaux, based in the UK, the Wiesenthal Centre’s Director for International Relations, Dr. Shimon Samuels, recounted his conversations with JCDecaux General Counsel in Paris, regarding “sabotage and abuse of your bus-stop billboards in France, measures were taken against the spate of ‘Boycott Israel’ posters, apparently placed by a pro-Hamas group.”

The letter continued: “These hate attacks continue in JCDecaux billboards at London Transport bus-stops.”
