“The imagery of Jews blood-letting a Christian child to bake the matzah is a travesty dated two weeks before Passover and Easter... The blood libel is still bleeding!”

In a letter to Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Vatican Secretary of State, the Simon Wiesenthal Centre Director for International Relations, Dr. Shimon Samuels expressed shock at a recently published painting by Giovanni Gasparro. This Italian artist views himself as a devout Catholic, but apparently rejects the principles of the Second Vatican Council and Nostra Aetate.

“She is accused of poisoning water wells and knowingly misleading the French public concerning Coronavirus. She appears alongside the yellow star marked ‘Jude’ (‘Jew’), imposed on the Jewish population by the Nazis... Take strongest measures against those who tarnish French medecine with the brush of hate!"

Argentine investigator, Pedro Filipuzzi, has shared with Dr. Shimon Samuels and Dr. Ariel Gelblung - respectively the Centre’s Director for International Relations and Director for Latin America - a list of some 12,000 names of Nazis in Argentina, many of whom had contributed to one or more bank accounts at the Schweitzerische Kreditanstalt, which became the Credit Suisse bank, based in Zurich, Switzerland.

The Wiesenthal Centre has monitored the Belgian town of Aalst for its outrageous antisemitic carnival floats.

The Centre’s Director for International Relations, Dr. Shimon Samuels, in 2013 protested the Nazi theme – whipping of concentration camp prisoners carrying canisters marked “Zyklon B,” the gas that killed millions of Jews.

“Again, last year we expressed outrage at the float showing religious Jews among gold coins and rats”… “taking the issue of Aalst’s UNESCO status to a Cultural Heritage Bureau meeting in June, with a proposal to delist a Carnival of hate,” stated Samuels.
