In a letter to Polish Academy of Sciences, President Michal Kleiber, the Simon Wiesenthal Centre (SWC) Director for International Relations, Dr. Shimon Samuels, lamented that the “Academy’s august reputation had, last week, been stained with the dark scourge of antisemitism.”

In a letter to National Assembly Deputy and President of the Association of the Mayors of France (AMF) ,Jacques Pelissard, the Simon Wiesenthal Centre's Director for International Relations, Dr. Shimon Samuels, urged that "the AMF, representing 34,486 municipalities nationwide, mobilize local bodies - in major cities, towns, and villages - to contain the rapidly growing scourge of grassroots antisemitism that endangers France itself". Samuels stressed that "Mayors in France are active at both the municipal and the national legislative levels.

Officials of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre, a leading Jewish human rights NGO, at the end of their 3–day mission to Budapest are urging the Hungarian government and the European Parliament to investigate reports of a growing relationship between Iran and the antisemitic and anti-Roma Jobbik Hungarian political party.

In a letter to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Director-General, Jose Graziano da Silva, the Simon Wiesenthal Centre's Director for International Relations, Dr. Shimon Samuels, bluntly asked "the relationship of 'the pursuit of Judaism' to food and agriculture?"
Samuels explained that he had "just sat through the United Nation’s Seminar on 'Assistance to the Palestinian People', which will be
indelibly marked by the comment of the Ambassador of Morocco - speaking for the Arab representatives on the UN Security Council - 'we are here
to stop the pursuit of Judaism in Palestine.'”
