L'exposition "le Peuple, le Livre, la Terre : 3 500 ans de relations entre le peuple juif et la Terre sainte" a été inaugurée au siège de l'UNESCO le 11 juin 2014. Rédigée par le célèbre historien Robert Wistrich et co-organisée par l'UNESCO et le Centre Simon Wiesenthal, cette exposition se tient sous l'égide du Canada, de l'Etat d'Israël, du Monténégro et des Etats-Unis.

The exhibition "People, Book, Land: the 3,500 year relationship of the Jewish People with the Holy Land" was inaugurated at UNESCO headquarters in Paris on 11 June 2014. Written by acclaimed historian Robert Wistrich, co-organized by UNESCO and the Simon Wiesenthal Centre, this exhibition is held under the auspices of Canada, Israel, Montenegro and the United States.

Suite à l'inauguration du 11 juin, l'exposition "le Peuple, le Livre, la Terre : 3 500 de relations entre le peuple juif et la Terre sainte" a rencontré un franc succès auprès du public - signalé même par le personnel  de l'UNESCO dès les premiers jours. Pour rendre hommage aux organisateurs du Centre Simon Wiesenthal, aux collaborateurs au sein de l'UNESCO et aux nombreux visiteurs, nous publions ces images qui parlent mieux que des mots - veuillez noter l'hétérogénéité des visiteurs de l'exposition, dont un groupe de lycéens mexicains (le 17 juin), accueillis par Mme Graciela Samuels de l'UNESCO et par M. Alex Uberti du Centre Simon Wiesenthal (à gauche).

Following its 11 June inauguration, the exhibition "People, Book, Land: the 3,500 year relationship of the Jewish People with the Holy Land" encountered a remarkable public success - also noticed by UNESCO personnel since the first opening days. As a tribute to the Simon Wiesenthal Centre organizers, to the friendly collaborators within UNESCO and to the many visitors, we decided to publish these photos that speak more and better than words - please note the heterogeneity of the visitors, including a group of Mexican high school students (on 17 June), welcomed by Dr. Graciela Samuels of UNESCO and Mr. Alex Uberti of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre (left).

Le 11 juin, peu avant l'inauguration de l'exposition, une délégation du Centre Simon Wiesenthal a rencontré le Président de la République, M. François Hollande. Cette réunion visait à identifier les actions nécessaires pour contrer la recrudescence et l'aggravation des attaques et des propos antisémites en France et en Europe.

On 11 June, a few hours prior to the opening of the exhibition, a Simon Wiesenthal Centre delegation met France's President, Mr. François Hollande. This meeting was meant to identify the necessary actions to combat the resurgence and aggravation of antisemitic attacks and propaganda in France and in Europe.
